IMPERIAL COLLEGE 1845 WOMEN’S RUGBY SHIRT
The Imperial College 1845 vintage women’s rugby shirt is made with a quality heavyweight slub cotton which gives the shirt a hard wearing yet soft and comfortable retro style finish.
This British vintage ‘old school’ shirt combines heritage colour dyes with a distressed wash to produce a nicely worn-in look and feel.
The shirt is completed with the Imperial College embroidered logo and the founding date.
The women’s shirts are slightly more fitted than the men’s version.

Ashantees R.F.C. founded in 1873 with 50 members.
They played at Hampstead, close to the station and changed at the ‘Railway Tavern’ on South End Road.
The Ashantees later changed their name and became the second Hampstead Rugby Football Club. T
The first Hampstead Rugby Football Club having changed its name to Harlequin F.C. in the 1869/70 season.
Ashantees played in navy shirts with a white ‘A’ on the left breast.
As Hampstead R.F.C. they changed their colours to black. They disbanded at the outbreak of WWI and never reformed.
