Covid-19 update

Black&Blue1871 is an online business and we remain open.  Please be aware that our normal delivery times may be affected due to the global outbreak of COVID-19.

Shirts that require logo embroidery or number patches may take 1-2 weeks to process and so delivery may be slower than normal. Due to high demand and the need for facemasks our embroiderer has a backlog of work and so shirt embroidery may be delayed as a result.

We thank you for your support and patience while we prepare your orders for delivery. We will update you once your order is ready to be shipped.

From the 1st July 2021, EU VAT rules are changing please see the following page for more information - Delivery

WEST KENT was founded in 1867 by a nucleus of Old Rugbeians. One of the founders Arthur Guillemard, a Lewisham man had previously played Association football for the famous Wanderers Football Club. He also played rugby football for Richmond Football Club.

West Kent FC played both codes of football at Chislehurst Common, on the same ground as their illustrious counterparts, the West Kent Cricket Club. The club used the ‘Imperial Arms’ pub at Chislehurst as their headquarters.

WEST KENT disbanded in 1886 when the members decided to give up the running game and play Association Football only.
