FOUNDING 13

Black&Blue 1871 has taken its inspiration from 13 disbanded founding Rugby Clubs. These clubs led the way in creating the game we know and love today. They are steeped in the very best tradition and we think that these traditions are worth carrying on.

We hope to be able to build these clubs up once again with the help of you, our customers.

Black&Blue 1871 has taken 13 of the original 21 founding clubs of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) in 1871 and created an apparel brand which harks back to the early days of rugby.

Giving each club its own identity, colours and crests our aim is to bring these teams back to life and create a new chapter in the history of these wonderful old clubs.
