Description

The USA 1912 vintage rugby shirt is made with a heavyweight slub cotton which gives the shirt a hard wearing yet soft and comfortable finish. This heritage ‘old school’ shirt combines vintage colour dyes with a distressed wash to produce a nicely worn-in look and feel. The USA 1912 white rugby shirt is completed with the embroidered flag logo with the date of their first International match.

The United States national rugby union team, nicknamed the Eagles, has been playing international rugby since the early 1900s but did not gain full recognition until the late 1970s.

The team has competed in multiple World Cups and other international tournaments. The Eagles have had some success in the Americas Rugby Championship and the Pacific Nations Cup, winning both tournaments multiple times.

The team has also had success in Sevens rugby, winning the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in 2015.

The team has a strong domestic base, with many players coming from the Major League Rugby, and the USA Rugby is working hard to improve the level of rugby in the country.
