The Sky Rockets 1871 vintage rugby shirt is made with a quality heavyweight slub cotton which gives the shirt a hard wearing yet soft and comfortable retro style finish. This British vintage ‘old school’ shirt combines heritage colour dyes with a distressed wash to produce a nicely worn-in look and feel. The Sky Rockets 1871 rugby shirt is completed with two orange rockets crossed embroidered on the left breast and the founding date.

Sky Rockets F.C. founded in 1871 with about 100 members. They played on Hackney Downs, five minutes walk from Hackney Station. The members changed at the ‘Down’s Hotel’ on Down’s Road East. They played in blue shirts with orange rockets crossed on the left breast. The Sky Rockets later changed their name to ‘Rockets F.C’.
